Phenomenal performance
Cody Johnson is a top tier performer! His show is so incredible and I love the respect and appreciation he shows his band and his fans. Highly recommend seeing him. The venue on the other (Reno events center) was an absolute nightmare, it was so disorganized and chaotic. You would think and events center would be prepared for an event but they weren’t and it was sold out on top of that, maneuvering through the venue was awful and to get onto the floor was hectic, they could’ve done a way better job. That said Cody Johnson, Randy Houser, and the Steel Woods put on a great show
Great Music
I thought the venue was great. Organized and lots of security.
The music and sound system were also fantastic.
I thought Cody Johnson did a little too much preaching regarding politics and the media as well as religion. Although I tend to believe most of his stands, I came to the concert to hear the music and get away from the real world for a short time. We were reminded too much of all the problems we are surrounded by in our daily lives.
Also, it seemed as if Cody was "putting down" some country singers that he does not believe are true country singers or as good as he and his friends. I believe everyone should be able to sing country with their own creative take on "country".
However, all three country singers were outstanding, and I truly enjoyed the music.
